Week 5

Over the course of last week the children presented their Keynote to the class. This formed part of their summative assessment task for our unit "Going Places." If you haven't already done so, have your child share their presentation and their model of their future form of transport with the family. I'm sure you will be impressed with both their knowledge and creativity.

Week 5 will see us commence our third Unit of Inquiry for the year - "Magical Tales." For the next 2 weeks of Show and Share I would like the children to share a story book that they enjoy. I would like them to tell the class a little bit about the book, who their favourite character is and why.

In a few weeks time we are off to see Possum Magic. I only have a few permission slips back so could you please send yours in as soon as possible if you haven't already done so.

Thank-you for sending in gumboots for when we go wandering around the school grounds. We now have our own gumboot rack out on the deck thanks to Tom. Thank-you also for ensuring that your children are wearing their school uniform correctly. They all look very smart!
