What a great start to Term 1!

The children have made a sensational start to the year and are quickly learning the routines of the classroom. Thank-you for supporting them in their transition from Prep to Year 1.

Hopefully over the weekend you will have the free apps pushed to your child's iPad. To download them simply sign into your apple account when prompted and the free app will automatically download.

The Office will be sending out an email in the coming days which will give you details of all of the paid apps that you will need to load on. The more expensive apps such as Pages, iMovie and Keynote are all apps that your children will continue to use each year as they move through the primary classes.

Please take the time over the weekend to talk through the User Agreement with your child. Once the agreement has been signed and returned to school and all the requested apps have been loaded on, the children can start using their iPads in the classroom.

Classroom helpers will commence this week. Please check the timetable on the "Classroom Helpers" page to see when you are rostered on (next week is the start of week 1). Thank-you also to those clever parents who have produced some beautifully coloured play doh. I really appreciate all of your time and effort.

I have attached a link to the Common Sense Media Blog. This is one of the websites that Robyn Treyvaud recommended. It is great resource for both parents and teachers.

Finally, if you haven't already done so, please return your Pastoral Care Interview sheet and Cornish Carnival Volunteer sheet as soon as possible.
